The Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, climbed two places passenger movement, thanks to growth 10% above the national average in 2012.
Viracopos currently occupies the seventh position in a ranking of the number of people who have gone through airports. Last year, 8.8 million people passed through the airport in Campinas, an increase of 16.5% over the previous year.
The airports managed by Infraero had an average growth of 6.4%, according to a recent assessment.
In 2011, when it ranked ninth in the ranking, the airport received 7.5 million people. In 2010, the airport did not appear among the top 10.
