TAV station location may be within Campinas airport

The dealership Airports Viracopos Brazil, responsible for managing the airport of Campinas, and Enterprise Planning and Logistics (EPL), which should build the High Speed Train (HST), scored a technical visit to the train station to be inside the terminal of the airport.

The visit, scheduled for March 21, will be made by engineers and architects of their companies. The idea is that users can access the train straight to the airport.

TAV will link the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Campinas.

The existence of a season of High Speed Rail in the second airport terminal will be a way to integrate the two transport services. According to the project, train passengers will have access to air transportation terminal via an escalator.
The new airport terminal will be delivered in May 2014.
