The Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, received more bus lines that cater passengers and employees who need to go to the airport’s Central Terminal.
Since Friday (01), are expressed trips connecting the terminal to the airport during peak hours.
The schedules will complement the service that is already offered by the line 1.93 – Viracopos Airport, which has its route between Terminal Metropolitan and Viracopos.
The explanation for the expansion of services for this path is given by the increased flow of passengers at Viracopos, which increased by 17% last year. The total number of passengers in 2012 is eight times greater than the number of passengers who passed through the airport in 2008.
The EMDEC, Municipal Development Company of Campinas, is attentive to the growth of Viracopos and aims to improve the quality of services provided to the users of public transportation, according to the Secretary of Transportation and president of EMDEC Sergio Benassi.
